Alejandro serves as the 2017-2018 E4FC Community Engagement Fellow at Alpha Cindy Avitia High School. He was born and raised in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. He graduated from UC Davis with majors in Community and Regional Development and Chicana/o Studies. Currently, Alejandro is pursuing a Master’s degree in Mexican American Studies at San Jose State University.
The Alpha Parent Center is a learning center within the Association for Continuing Education (ACE) network. It provides the space and resources needed to help parents build an influential community of families, accessible education for Latino and Vietnamese families, and opportunities to develop leadership skills, so they can be empowered and better support their children on their path to college success. The Alpha Parent Center also serves as a coordinating organization for Second Harvest Food Bank to distribute food to low-income families.
