From Athletics to Interest Clubs, Students Find Ways to Shine After School
Alpha Public Schools partners with local organizations to provide after-school programming at each of our schools to enrich students’ learning. Students can also get involved in a range of athletics teams and interest clubs. After-school enrichment is more than a fun way to pass the time: students build teamwork and leadership skills that serve them well both in and out of school.

Yes! We are proud to partner with the Boys & Girls Club (José Hernández and Blanca Alvarado) and Catholic Charities of Silicon Valley’s CORAL program (Cornerstone Academy) to offer high-quality extended day programming at each of our sites.
In the 2024-2025 school year, extended day programming (i.e., Boys and Girls Club at Alpha: Blanca Alvarado School and Alpha: José Hernández School, and CORAL at Alpha: Cornerstone Academy) is offered to all TK-8th grade students free of charge. Each school site publicizes its programs in advance of the school year, for families to submit an interest form.
